The following is made to offer recognition to horses (and riders) who will show consistent excellence in TEA approved classes.
There are three levels of a special recognition. The first shall be the Registry of Merit (ROM); the second will be the Registry of Honor (ROH); and the third shall be the Superior Registry (SR). Any Thoroughbred or Half-Thoroughbred may qualify for these awards by fulfilling each of the following criteria:
* * * The horse must be owned or leased and ridden or shown by a current TEA member.
* * * The horse must be nominated for that category of award by a one time payment of $20.00 for each category for which it is to be eligible. Not to include versatility.
* * * The horse must accumulate points within the category as normally awarded under TEA rules for year-end awards, as delineated in the TEA rulebook. Classes in which points may be earned shall include all TEA produced shows and classes in other shows as approved by the board and published in the TEA newsletter.
* * * Points necessary for each of the levels in each category are as shown in the tables below.

* * * In addition, any horse earning 3 ROMs in the above categories shall be recognized with the ROM in versatility; any horse earning 4 ROHs shall receive a registry of honor in versatility; and finally any horse earning 5 SRs shall receive a Supreme Registry in Versatility.
