Kari Wetherill's Thoroughbreds...

Salty Snake (affectionately known as Annie) was born in 1990. She raced for a few years and I got her just before she turned 5. We have done so many things together...the list is long as I still have her (I am her forever home). From dressage, to bride-less riding, to trail rides and swimming together...She has been such a reliable partner. Finally, she decided she wanted to be a mom...I took her to the American Warmblood inspections where she was rated First Premium!

Stormin Stevie (otherwise known as Adora) is my more recent off the track thoroughbred. She was born in 2002 and, from what I can tell from her previous owners as well as her demeanor, she had a great time at the race track! I really do think she had fun and was treated well. But, all things come to an end, and it was ready for her to change careers. I was fortunate enough to be the lucky one to discover this mare. I would not trade any horse for her. She is sweet, friendly, affectionate, willing....the list goes on. We are currently competing in eventing!
